Amsterdam, 30 August 2013 – For the third consecutive year IDC Benelux will in cooperation with leading partners host the IT Security Conferences Netherlands and Belgium. These will take place in Amsterdam on the 12 of September and in Brussels on the 25 of September and are part of a wider European IDC IT Security roadshow.
More than 70 CISO’s, IT Directors and ICT managers will convene to discuss the most recent security threats and solutions that have become an integral part of business, and attend high-quality presentations from peers such as Troels Oerting, VP of Europol and Jurgen van der Vlugt, President of ISSA the Netherlands.
Mobile devices, Cloud Solutions and BYOD have become integral parts of doing business which has increased the risk of losing sensitive data. As a result cyber crime and DDoS attacks have become both more frequent and more profitable for the perpetrators. Some sources even predict that cyber crime will soon become more lucrative than the illegal drug trade.
The IDC IT Security Conferences serve to exchange the most up-to-date knowledge on these threats and on the most effective means of protecting businesses and their digital infrastructure. The conferences combine keynote sessions and interactive workshops and provide ample room for networking.
The conferences are now open for registration on www.idc.com/security_nl for Amsterdam, or www.idc.com/security_be for Belgium.
The conference is free to attend for the end-user community. Upon registration, the VIP code IDC531F will provide free access to the conference for the registrants that fit the end-user profile. IDC reserves the right to cancel your registration if it is decided that you don't qualify. At which point you will be notified and can chose to register for the normal fee.
